The Peace Horse Project combines my passion for horses, enthusiasm for education of both horse and human and my desire to help others discover the many benefits of spending time in the presence of horses as partners and teachers on a path of self-discovery. This is inspired by the lessons I learned from my greatest teacher, my horse, Farletta. Our story is told in the pages of the books in the Hope, Horses, and Healing Book Collection. The first step on this journey was the creation of the Peace Horse Journey blog, where we explore horse-guided self-discovery through listening to the wisdom of the horse.
The mission of The Peace Horse Project is to open new pathways of communication and discovery with our horse partners. To share information and facilitate personal growth and learning while holding our equine friends in respectful regard as contributors and equal partners, not as objects to be used as a means to an end. Unique offerings including retreats and workshops are part of meeting this mission.
The vision is the eventual development of a physical location for The Peace Horse Center. A haven of spiritual health and wellness for both humans and horses.
